Dancer. Mathematician. Producer. Project Manager.
By day, Joanna’s a PMP certified project manager; in off hours, she’s a dance artist holding space for complexity—both on and off the stage. For over a decade, she’s co-composed improvisational magic with The Lovelies, an NYC-based ensemble she co-founded.
Originally from Atlanta, GA and Gorham, ME, she’s made NYC her creative playground. Along the way, she’s performed, produced, taught, organized, and generally kept things moving. She founded Dance in Bushwick, agented at Pentacle, tutored math, and danced with artists like Jennifer Kayle, Pam Vail, Jamal Jackson, Christina Noel, Zoetic and more—plus the occasional opera and spontaneous project.
She’s not a fan of talking about herself, but she is a fan of coffee, complex ideas, and collective creativity.
